Hunting for...
I installed my kick panel vent and it only opens on "max" which I thought was wierd. It does not open on "vent", which I also find weird. So if it opens on "max" what should I look for to fix so it works on "vent"????? It is like something is wonky with the vacuum lines, but I haven't changed...- My78truck

Thanks Raider L - That is exactly what I did. I have been very happy with the results up to this problem. After the 2nd attempt, and worse blushing, I took it down to bare metal and filler. I have since primed and applied 2 coats of base and stopped. I just received today the 2K clear coat...- My78truck

LED Side Markers from CARID
YEP!!!! Which is NOT what they sent. I am sending those back and ordering replacements from LMC. They are less expensive and I have been told by another group member came as a true plug and play.- My78truck

I have repainted my base - 2 coats. NO problems - looks great!!! The first can of clear coat worked great. I honestly believe that the 2nd can of clear coat was the problem, for what ever reason. The have been very nice, called me about the problem, walked me through all the do and don'ts...- My78truck

Ugh!!!!!! Clear Coat Issues
Just an update, I waited for the "perfect" day and tried again. And AGAIN, the blush set in. I tried spraying it with Naphtha and let that dry off. No help. I wiped it down and tried a heat gun on low setting and 6 inches away. it IMMEDIATELY when white!!! WTF!!!!!! So......I AGAIN took...- My78truck

HA!!! So it is an issue with others also. That makes me feel better (sorry). I thought it was something in my wiring. LED bulbs I ordered came in. 2 of them, the base was too large, the other one the base fit, but it was too tall. The Dynacorn will be here next week. I will see what they...- My78truck

Thanks for all the tips. I am only having problems with this one area. I sanded, prepped, primed, applied base coat and clear coat successfully to 4 other small areas and one larger area and I even painted the part of the dash that will be exposed below the dash pad, glove box and ashtray...- My78truck
