    VARMITS

That is what I am thinking. I just want the underside of the hood to look nice. So, if I were to paint the underside of the hood, what would you suggest. Thinking some sort of paint that is heat tolerant, but not like engine paint.

Whew - what a mess. Those litte SOBs are so destructive. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Going to try some traps up in the engine area and maybe a catch bucket set up as well as going out and start it and drive it more.

Fairly certain it was a mouse. Nest not that big. Never had a mouse build a nest there before. I will just have to be more proactive and go out and disturb them more. I have been a very bad owner. Haven't been out and messing around the truck much over winter. Of course the little F***er...

When not in use the truck if parked under a carport. It is not a daily driver and only driven sparingly other than started up every once in a while. I have 5 dogs on the otherside of the fence and cats that roam the area.

Not sure if this is where I need to post. A little friend decided that they would build a nest in my hood latch area and use my new fiberglass Hood insulation as bedding. can anyone tell me if they have seen or no or can suggest how to cover these holes so the Little Critters can't get in. Thanks

    Hello from Virginia

Thanks. Everywhere I go I get ask. I was actually in a drive through and admiring the shiny new burgandy chevy truck in front of me when the driver got out and came back to me and ask if I wanted to sell it. I am flattered, but it does get old. So, I just decided to add some levity to the...

    Extra bulb in dash

I would suggest getting a colored wiring diagram. Helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!! with refurb and tracing some issues. I like the color charts because the black and white ones make my eyes go crazy

I think i went ot NAPA and bought II at one point - before the tranny rebuild a few years ago which I believe they used synthetic - although they do not have it in the service notes....... Just like ol' dino oil, hard, if not non-existent to find. I still have my original flat top...

    Air vent valve replacement

Hello, Yeah, USA1 shipping is pricy. That is why I tried to combine as much as possible on an order. Don't write them off. They are a good group and have helped me many, many times. In their defense, everything from them came FedEx, so in 2 days, versus others whom I had to wait a week for...

    Hood not sitting flush

So I have noticed that my hood is not sitting flush with fender on both sides. My hood is not bent, I have the original hinges and have greased them up with white lithium. I bought new replacement hood bumpers for fenders. I thought they were too high so I cut some off the top. Didn't help...
