AM/FM cassette Delco stock radio
Found one at the local u pull it and thought I had cut a fat hog. Turns out it didn’t work. Still looking every chance I get. Will try Facebook marketplace hadn’t thought of that.- dbush

292 smog pump removal
Thanks for that great info. Taking the pump off was started by previous owner (he had most apart and cobbled up with weird plugs on engine and hose blocked with bolts) the pump hose was disconnected but the belt still turning the pump. Not running a cat so shouldn’t be an issue. The air pump is...- dbush

292 smog pump removal
I removed all the smog equipment from my 292. Thought I could remove the smog pump and tighten the belt with my power steering pump. It is mounted solid. Any ideas about brackets or idlers that might work with a v belt. Or would a different power steering mounting bracket from a different year...- dbush

Thanks for all the great input. Couple of questions. With having dual tanks do you have a pump in each tank? Is it possible to use the tanks I have now and add sending unit with pumps? Have been looking at the Holley forum and watching all the videos the have, also printed of the installation...- dbush

Sniper EFI on 292
Looking at converting my 292 one barrel to a sniper EFI. Has anyone had any experience with the Holley sniper? Truck came with a over seas carburetor that is more than frustrating. Any thoughts or ideas would be great.- dbush

Truck is a 4 speed, think it’s 4:11’s by the way it drives (pretty low geared). Picked it up 2 months ago it would hardly run and was stuck in 4 low. Ended up paying $1900. From what I have found online 84 was the last year for the 292 in the US. I’m a inline six fan so that’s what made me decide to pull the trigger. Have a 261 in a 61 Chevy that is my daily driver.- dbush

Found this truck with a bad transfer case. Looked for a used np208 and couldn’t find anything in my price range. Finally rebuilt it with a friends help.
