    Aux Battery Tray

I have few in my parts heap plus the trucks in my yard... they're almost all different..!? Obviously many variations. I can't verify it right now but I'm suspecting that for example, factory aux battery vs Camper Special option (which has an aux batt) vs C/K10,20 or 30.

Does rollerizing a 454 really make a difference.? Not for racing, just a street brute.

My opinion got me yelled at a few years back haha. Rollers preform better but only just a little bit, imo not worth the extra $$ (significant). The old story of flat tappets and BB, well that's true but it;s a;so not all the truth... some of these engines are still running decent with 150K miles...

Slightly stiffer coils that dont sacrifice ride quality

IMO the front coils are undersprung on SB 2wd C10s and to and extent C20s. The few 2wd squares (SB) I've owned I installed coild from a BB truck. They ride a little higher but much better, steer better, handle better. I highly recommend BB springs or one better, BB with AC option is even a...

    Yukon Posi vs Detroit TruTrack

Before you buy new, look for a 14 bolt with a locker already in it. You could find one that will cost less than a new locker and have a real man's diff instead of the wimpy 10 or 12 bolt whatever is in your truck. Sounds like you might want to move up a tire size or two, so look for that 14...

Do I need a block heater?

They make high quality block heaters that replace frost plugs. It's a machined brass plug with an O ring. Stay away from the pressed steel type plugs. When I lived and worked in the oil field in Saskatchewan I had to face minus 30C all the time. I had two frost plug type heaters plus and inline...

    15" vs 17" wheels

Just for what it's worth, the weight difference between my 16" wheels and tires vs my 17" wheels and tires (03 VW Jet TDI) is substantial. I didn't put them on a scale yet, that will happen in the spring but I'm guessing an easy 10 lbs per wheel/tire unit. I'll be adding a min 40 lbs to my car...

Pre-welded stake pockets or Bolt on? How good of quality is the aftermarket bedsides?

Umm, I kinda don't wash my vehicles much, at all, like never. But I do knock the chunks off.

Lifting engine in place with carb studs?

I have pulled and replaced and engine with my bare hands. It was my '64 Ford Falcon and I lifted the bare block out and back in again. I pulled the heads and intake, all the pulleys and stuff. Rad was out giving me more room. Those small block Fords were probably the lightest and most compact...

Pre-welded stake pockets or Bolt on? How good of quality is the aftermarket bedsides?

Take the pocket right out and weld a cover. Buy a nice little pressure washer and hook up a decent water filter with charcoal to pull out the chlorine and whatever mind altering drugs in the water supply. Park that awesome stepper in an air conditioned garage.

Pre-welded stake pockets or Bolt on? How good of quality is the aftermarket bedsides?

Welcome Blair and nice truck... really nice! We don't need to see pics to believe unless the poster comes across like a dick... To answer your question... well, we need more pics! Serious here, the quality of oversea parts is consistently inconsistent, so we can't really give a solid answer...
