Deaver's prices might shock ya a bit.. I would try ORD first. They make a Deaver copy, multi leaf super flexy. They could set you up with a 2" lift which rides awesome and frankentruck above mentioned, unhook the the sway bar for more flex... but he didn't mention longer shocks for the bigger...- shiftpro

Figured out which mirrors I want. Anyone have them?
The original mirrors are the best ever. Strong, and even has a 'hand hold' for the left hand while your driving with the glass down. They are also vertically oriented, which IMO is the most important feature. -

Hey Grits, I consider myself a bit of a shock expert as I have decades of broken shocks to learn from! Twin shocks are not two of the same... they come as a set and are valved softer. If you pull the cover Chris, check where the bolt holes are that the cover is not dished concave (from the outside going in) ever so slightly. I would have left the tails until I knew what I was doing with the truck.. meaning make them as long or short as you need them. They could be theoretically longer or shorter...- shiftpro

If you do in fact go with the spray bomb, do the rust convertor still and then drop your paint cans in a tub or sink of scalding hot water. After a while drain the water and refill with hot hot.
