When my clutch linkage from the pedal wore out on my Powerstroke for the second time (cheap pot metal with a plastic bushing), I made a new linkage with Hiem joints on it. Unfortunately the safety switch would not fit the new linkage. I planned to modify it, but just put a bolt in tne switch...- SDJunkMan

Splined Wheels?!?!
I would bet someone out there can use them. I had a couple of Sunbeam Alpines, but none with wire wheels. I don't think my son will go with the fancy bushings, it's just a beater truck, but will keep them in mind if I do another GMT400years. I bought tne parts truck hoping it had a NV4500 in it (it didn't), but it has a good passenger door, and his is pretty beat up. Figure I have to use something...- SDJunkMan

I want to swap a door on my sons GMT400, but see that the hinges are welded on. Can I just knock the hinge pins out and swap the doors? Are there any tricks to removing the hinge pins? It doesn't look like there is much room to get at them.- SDJunkMan

Just picked up a 92 Chevy 1500 sight unseen, at an auction. It had a 5 speed in it, and I was hoping it was a NV4500. Unfortunately it is a Getrag or NV3500 (havent had a chance to look for a tag). A little dirty, some surface rust underneath, chrome coming loose on the underside of one. -
All glass, C30 (single) drums, rear leaf packs in Twin Cities MN area.
I probably have the door glass and vent window, will try to check tomorrow. I fly in to MSP quite often if we could meet at the airport. (Actually going through there Saturday, but don't have much of a layover) -

Wow! That's a hell of a collection, doesn't give a backstory though. Bunch of Chateau's, didn't think they made a very many, they must have searched hard to find them. Wish there were some parts and parts trucks, that's not too far from me. -
What have you done to your square lately??
Finally getting to the fuel filter leak on my CUCV (been in Denver helping my son on a major remodel). Looks like someone already removed the water sensor and plugged it, so I am just going to replace tbe who!e darn thing with a spin on fi!ter. What should I do with the wires for tne water... -

What type of transfer case do I have in my truck ?
