    Saddle Leather Seat

The upholstery is stretched over the frame/padding, and held on with hog rings. If the springs and padding are in good shape, you can get new upholstry to replace yours from seveal sources. LMC has kits starting at a couple hundred bucks. You will have to do some searching to fin the embossed...

    vinyl floor replacement help/opinions wanted

I too want to go with vinyl, as my truck is used for plowing snow and gets a lot of snow tracked in. I was interested in the 1/8 MIP polyvinyl mat, but would also like to hear from someone that has actually used one. The factory rubber mats in my truck wore out a long time ago.

    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

Finally made it over to my shop, cold weather and overtime at work have kept me pretty busy the last couple of weeks . As far as I can tell they should fit with a stock bumper, might need some longer bolts though. If you can find the whole bumper assembly you can get the tow hooks too.

What is a NOS grill worth?

Well I got the grill for $80, so I guess I did pretty good. It's darker than the one on my truck, probably due to the trim level.

I don't recall off hand what the lines were called, but they were some type of rubber, just not the common stuff you get at the chain stores. A little research on the internet should give you the information. That's why I don't make it very often anymore, too hard to come up with the waste...

I've run bio for years in my Powerstroke, never heated it, but don't run it when it' s cold because it will jell. I've also used it in my TDI Beetle with no problem. If you you run SVO you have to heat it. I will eat up certain types of rubber lines, mostly those used on older vehicles, my...

Talk me out of cutting my dash

Never thought about that, but it would probably be worth saving that section of the dash on the cab I'm scrapping.

Thanks, it looked like it was about that. Guess I need to start digging through my iron pile and see what I can come up with.

Here's my Alpine, plan to use it in one of my trucks. Checked my spare knobs but they don't have the metal in the slot like the Alpine.

    New floor and question.

Thanks for the link, I noticed the horizontal adjustments, do you think it would help to have vertical adjustment also? Is the pivot point about 4' from the floor?

Thanks for the pics, looks like I might have another welding project to do in the near future. :D Does the cab balance pretty good where you have your pivot located?

I like that rotessiree, how does it attach? Can we see some pics from the side? I have to do some work on my cab floor too and that looks like a nice setup.

What is a NOS grill worth?

Yeah, it's a 77-79, can't tell the difference in years from the pic, looks like it has the original box. Guess I'll see what it goes for and buy it if the price is right. I hope it's a 78 cause that is what I need. Anyone know where I can find part numbers so I can tell exactly what it is?

    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

Looks like there is some type of push blade on the loader. The rear blade is handy for moving loose dirt, grading driveways, and moving snow. It's probably worth a couple of hundred dollars. To do any serious reshaping a box blade works a lot better. It depends on what it costs to get it...
