I haven't seen a short box stepside diesel 4x4 before, but I do know that our family business had 3 or 4 K20 long box stepside 6.2 diesels with SM465 manuals. How do I use the tank selector on 1973 Camper Special
That auxiliary fuel tank looks like something added by a camper dealer. It was pretty common to add them to pickups when slide in campers were purchased to add more range. The ones I have seen set up that way did not have the fuel gauge hooked up, so the gauge only worked for the factory...- mcarlo86

Same up here in ND. I have heard that the salt is cheaper than cutting edges on the V-plows.....Or maybe it's just easier to spread the salt/brine. 350 to 292 swap.
The 292 would work for what you are wanting to do. They do make decent off-idle torque and obviously were used in medium duty trucks for that reason. Trying to do this properly this time.
The only time I remember someone getting riled up enough to be memorable was a 6.2-loving guy...haven't seen him around in a while. But I don't think he pissed anyone off, just had thin skin and didn't take jokes well.- mcarlo86

Did you do any other enhancements to the 292 like lump ports in the heads? I'm curious to hear how you like the Sniper on that 6. -
Champion radiator difficulties
I looked and the part number for my Champion radiator is CC716. https://www.championradiators.com/product/CC716 I notice now that they list the inlet as 1.5". I didn't notice that when I ordered it. Just assumed it would be the same as the stock one.- mcarlo86

Wheel/Tire Opinion
This is the size I put on my ‘68 C10. I’m very happy with them. Got Mastercraft Avenger G/T tires in white letter. Similar to Cooper Cobras or BFG T/A’s but a little less money.- mcarlo86
