    Crazy question

    Bolt the new one in, but before you do this drill some small weep holes on the backside [front] before installing. Lets the moisture out and is not noticeable since it's toward the rear of the cab. Be sure to treat the newly exposed bare metal with a rust preventative coating.

    Welcome from N. Texas! I like to keep things simple. I would just bet that after all the years since the truck came off the line, the bottom of the fuel tank(s) looks like the grease trap in a fried chicken joint kitchen. Not fun to clean out, but a necessary evil in the world of vintage...

    Need 2 Chevrolet Heads 14079261

    Both my 1986 C20 Heads are cracked in the middle cylinder area. Machine shop says it was probably a casting flaw to have the same crack in the same area. So, anyone who has a known good pair, please PM or DM me. Will travel to pick them up, or will pay to have them shipped. Thanks in advance.
