Alternative A/C Test Methods
When you pull the gauges from a fully charged system and the schrader leaks you can install a good cap with a good seal with a little ester or A/C mineral oil and with all probability stop the leak. I was surprised as well when told of the cap being the primary seal. -

Guy pulls up next to me in a new Silverado today, rolls down his window and says “how much”. So I answer the don’t want to sell it price, “50k“. He is “in” a 50k dollar truck, I would be hard pressed to trade strait across. Food for thought…what’s your truck worth to you! -

quick ratio steering box
It’s kind of like no power steering if you are used to the factory. Less turns lock to lock, I prefer the two finger old style. Not inexpensive either way, my frame was cracked near the pump, look close BTW- Finkaire

Looks clean under the hood! I’ve always used OE batteries, Honda, Mopar or Delco in this case, just seems proper. I have motorcycles and the last thing you want is a defective battery- Finkaire

AC compressor oil capacity?
If you are retrofitting an old system it is important you do not add PAG oil, it is a corrosive and will take out your evaporator. An Ester oil is the only oil compatible with 134a and an older R12 system. If it is a new aftermarket system the compressor will come with oil sufficient for the... -
