1987 R10 Radiator Leak
i bought a cold-case and it didn’t fit, bought a NOS Modine radiator on EBay and it didn’t fit. Tired of messing around I took it to a radiator shop and had it re-cored. Are you sitting down……. $850. No regrets- Finkaire

Sensor above oil filter 3 wire
Sorry if it’s been discussed, what is the 3 wire switch above the oil filter. Trying to eliminate as many oil leaks as possible. Changed the valve cover gaskets, and the oil pressure switch behind the distributor. The 3 wire switch is leaking, exactly what is that sensor?- Finkaire

What did you pay for a square
$10,500 out the door, cost plus $300 I ordered from Val Strough Chevrolet Oakland where I worked. Paid it off on a 3 year loan from Bank of Canton Stockland shell was $700.- Finkaire

Question about headers
Nothing easy as far as headers, they don’t fit, they leak, you end up end wrenching the plugs, interferes with starter access and a noisy passenger compartment to boot. If you want to spend money, wheels and tires or a stereo upgrade would be time and money better spent. Not to mention the truck...- Finkaire

Glad you got it figured out, I really like the fit and functionality of the Retrosound system. I added a powered under seat subwoofer to mine, not as a boom boom, but to just fill in the lower frequencies- Finkaire

Ac conversation with factory AC
Be sure to use an Ester oil and not PAG. PAG oil is a corrosive and will take out the original evaporator. Obviously replace the accumulator and orifice tube as well. Best of luck! -
Precision windshield gasket too big
Bought a LMC gasket along with the chrome trim, glass guy said it didn’t fit. Bought months earlier, couldn’t return A little chapped that the trim wasn’t replaced, different gasket.- Finkaire
