    What's this? (x2)

I guess maybe I’ll try hertz, they install hitches. I think that I need to physically try to see if there are any clearance issues. Other than that I might have to ditch the glide out carrier for the standard model. Thanks

My truck had a bonfire inside the cab last night

Do you have comprehensive insurance, I think it might be covered

Hi, still trying to navigate the site. Is there a trailer hitch that will work with the glide out spare tire carrier?

Hi everyone, Im in the process of a refresh on my ‘84 stepside. I ordered the truck new when I worked for the dealer in Oakland. it was painted about 25 years ago, peeler. Got some rust spots now so it’s getting ready for paint again. Got it torn down and have been ordering parts, grille...

    Ac compressor

When retrofitting to r134a you will need to use Ester oil, PAG oil is a corrosive and will take out your evaporator. You will also need to replace the accumulator. Option 2 is using R12, hard to find and more expensive, the system was designed to run on R12. That’s what I’m running in mine.

    GAUGE QUESTION

May have a bad ground in the plastic circuit board. Temporarily fixed mine with a paper clip then just replaced the board. When things start acting funny it’s a bad ground a lot of the time

    Wiper cowl removal

Thanks, wiggling didn’t seem to work. I’ll try again, being a one man band prevents hood removal at the moment. Just wondering if was physically possible.

Vintage air versus LMC A/C Kit

Important: If you decide to use the OE system and for anybody out there considering retrofit to 134a. Use an Ester Oil not PAG, PAG oil is a corrosive and will take out the evaporator. FYI

Vintage air versus LMC A/C Kit

New compressor, accumulator and hoses, long as the compressor didn’t lunch you might be in good shape. OE is a good system and I believe you might loose your fresh air with the AF system. My 2 cents
