    Why is This Blue?

Got a free box of parts from a guy I've been dealing with. In it was this bowtie grill badge, in blue. First one I've ever seen, but then again I haven't really paid attention to badges all that much. The truck was a 80 diesel Silverado if that makes difference. I also got a diesel hood...

    Rear Step Bumper?

How do these aftermarket bumpers work? I don't see any bumper bolts on the exterior of the bumper, so you must have to buy their bumper brackets to?

    Replacing Fuel Tank Straps

You could easily center punch and drill the rivets out, but I'm not sure the remaining piece of strap will come out without a fight. If you have a welder, I'd grind off the welds, separate the two pieces, remove the old rivets and strap, then put it back together.

steering column....What am I Looking at

I picked up an 80 tilt column today but realized that something's not right with the lower end of it. I'm not familiar with the lower end of the column, but I think I'm looking at the lower bearing that needs to be seated back down in the column and it's missing the bearing retainer. Can someone...

    Electric choke

Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong , but the wiring diagram shows the choke hot wire is light blue and the other terminal should be a ground. I just looked at my 85 and the hot wire is red also.

    Elec. window/ lock harness question

I Thought I'd conclude this thread with what I learned. I originally went to get some nice doors, door panels and the electric window harness.....
