    Cab Corner, Rocker Joint Question

Can anyone tell me if the joint in the circle was attached in any way or just seam sealed? These are aftermarket patches and the way they're stamped they'll only be getting seam sealer, but was thinking they could have been spot welded from the back side, maybe

    Respirator filter for spraying epoxy?

I've got some body parts almost ready for primer but not sure of the filter/ cartridge to use in my respirator I'm seeing 3m 6001,6006 and 60921 (I think) but not sure if they are right for what's in epoxy. Anybody know what's best? Thanks

    Correct bumper for '78

Yep they had to be ordered with the truck. In '78 a painted one would run ya $47 and chrome was $73. And if I'm reading it right, it looks like if you ordered a chrome front bumper, you couldn't get a painted rear, it had to be chrome. (From the GM heritage center)

    Best replacement floor pans?

I think the best panels are put out by TriPlus. AMD and I think Raybucks carries them. They seem to be the proper thickness to match the original sheetmetal

    Hood emblem

Here's a 80 hood, measured from the cowl edge with the tape pulled tight. I can get ya different dimensions if ya want. I have to say the large center hole looks kind of odd to me, but I'm pretty sure it's original.

Has anyone ever replaced the tailgate post/ rear stake pocket post?

How did ya do it? It looks like major surgery to get the old one out. I've got some rust issues in the lower section around the talgate trunnion area and wouldn't mind replacing the whole thing.

    Drivers floor pan replacement

Is this a show truck? Butt weld would be best but I think most people lap weld. Flanging the patch would look better then a lap welded patch. I'm still planing on butt welding my 78 floors, but that might change. as far as fitting, get the hammer out, I'd line up the ribs in the pan so it...
