    Thanks for the input people, I guess I didn't know they showed chrome on the leading edge only. I always thought they came in chrome or painted. Learned something new again.

    I picked up a 74 grill that is painted silver/argent but it appears to be chrome plated under the paint. Is this typical for this year? I was thinking of stripping the paint if it was all chrome. Thanks

    I think I'd cut out the rusted area and just fab up a new patch. it's a pretty straight forward patch as far as shape and size goes.

    I dabbled with the Caswell Plating brush plating kits, but never tank plating. they do offer a good instruction manual and materials.

    Valid point, but, You should be able to reach up in the B pillar and feel if there was a hole for the corner trim screw.

    The cab doesn't have the back cab belt trim so it would be a Custom or Custom Deluxe. but then again they would have come with a painted bumper.

    both are used for my 700 trans. It goes thru the one near the gas pedal then goes left over to the passenger side then loops around and back to the trans left side.

    It's a Camper Loading Information tag, the 73 is a dimension not the year.
