    Jim, Are you talking about the switch down towards the bottom of the column or the lock cylinder "switch"

    The frame horns look to be 73-80 See if the partial vin is still on the right frame rail.

    check into Southern Polyurethanes Inc. Great prices on probably the best epoxy primers and clear coats.

    Yeah, I bet it was a spray can primer so a good lacquer thinner or maybe acetone might take it off without touching the original paint.

    I just peeled back the other side fender trim and it doesn't have the same set up either. So what I thought was an unmolested truck might have replacement fenders, or they stopped doing it for the 85's
