Ok, I plugged in some dimensions into the UPS calculator (42x50x8) and it would cost $230 to get it from Utah to NY. Thats a little bit to much for me. One question I got to ask is, Do you know for sure they're OEM doors? -

Does hood need removed to remove fender? Replacing door hinges.
Can you locate a backing plate for the latch pin at a local junk yard? It shouldn't be welded in, that way when you need adjustment you can loosen the latch and move it around.- DanMcG

Strong gas odor

Vin # Locations
Nice clean frame....that is probably a part number... vin is on top flange, pass side near or under rear of cab -
Frame comparisons for rust repair
Sooo I pulled the box off my 77 K10 short bed only to find the top flange of the frame rail rusted through right above the shock, a good size section of it anyways, at least a few square inches. If I was to look for a replacement frame rail section, what would fit besides another k10? C10? c-k...- DanMcG

I have a 85 fleetside that I believe is original and i picked up another 85 bed that I think might be a repop but both are missing the rib that I circled in the pic below. the ones in the pic are supposed to be original. Could it be a year thing? does anyone else have one like shown, and what... -

Looking at your pic, if the pink is at 3 o'clock and red is 6 your purple wire goes at 9 o'clock. Sounds like you need to adjust the switch. -
Bed Floor Question
I'm starting to think the whole bed is a replacement. I need to get it out of the weather and check it out this week. It's off a black truck but the best I can tell even the inside of the bed sides are black.- DanMcG

Bed Floor Question
This is a short bed, supposably an 85. What I find odd is that all four corners have the patch panels and except for surface rust it's a very solid box. I guess it could be a complete floor replacement, I think they did them in five pieces before the one piece floor came out.- DanMcG

I picked up a decent fleetside box this week and noticed it has separate floor panels in front and behind the wheel wells. My 85 is a one piece, and was wondering if any years came this way, or are these aftermarket panels? Here's a pic of one of the front lap joints, bed it upside down.- DanMcG

why would front bumper have a part number stamped in it?
