    78 k10 stepside fenders

I have no experience with them but I've heard Mar-k products are top notch. http://www.mar-k.com/Catalog/index.aspx?LID=8176 You should consider cutting out the rusted area and making a patch panel to replace it. it's a flat piece of 16 gage so fabbing would be simple, but it would be a lot of...

Can these bed sides be saved?

This isn't my style but they make bed rail protectors that might cover the banged up top rails. something like these? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=truck+bed+protector As far as the fuel filler goes, you can cut out and weld in a new one or maybe move the tank to the other side

Can these bed sides be saved?

Here's a link to a bed side reskin. https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/bed-side-panel-removal.23109/#post-444806 I would think a clean bed in your area would be easy to find for a reasonable price. unlike here in NY where a nice one can't be found for any price.

    Bench seat foam cushion

On a side note, make sure your seat springs are in good shape, a couple busted springs will cause the seat to sag too.

thinking of posting on craigslist need help with price

It looks clean but without more pic's it's hard to give a number. But like Viktor mentioned, Sitting in NY, I'd but a clean one out of the Southwest and spend $1,500 for shipping and only be into it for $5500-$6500.

    79 k10 bed weight

I was looking at model weights at the GM Heritage site, but couldn't find a cab/chassis model weight. If you could find that info and compare it to a standard pickup weight is would answer the question. I think. When I pulled the sides off my short box they were heavy but I could carry one...

    kobalt 60 gallon compressor

I bought the same one a month ago, but have yet fired it up. It seemed like a good size compressor that fit in my price range. The pump is made by Campbell Hausfeld.

Someone post what I think was a 73 and the vin was stamped on top of rail near the steering box, If I can find it I'll post it here. Here it is. Look at the pic's on the second page. https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/73-k10-swb-frame-off-redo.23393/page-2#post-459523 Maybe it's a 73 thing.

    Rust opinions

How was the roof panel done? Welded? Glued? I'd take a grinder to some of the heavily bubbled areas and see how bad it is. I'd consider a new cab if it all rusted through.
