    Fuel tank leak

I doubt you will find one locally, I'd buy the LMC one and be done with it.

    Fuel tank leak

I'd remover the filler neck housing from the box side and work on it on a bench. if the clamp is still on you can use a hacksaw or Sawzall to cut through it.

    Fuel tank leak

I'll also go to the big box store or local plumbing supple and get an expandable pipe plug to cork the tank inlet. It will keep the gas vapors in the tank and also keep possible debris from getting in.

Is it bad to scrap parts versus selling?

Around here the bed is worth 400 and so are the frame and axles, cab is 200-500 depending on the amount of rot. Buy the whole package and use what you want and get rid of the rest.

Just a quick follow up, I said the hell with it and used the VHT semi black. Now I can reassemble the front end.

    Need help please

The E-brake cables might be hanging up from rust in their housings. Try spraying the cable housings with a good penetrating oil to free them up.

Paint code for the black radiator support?

Well Eastwood has a semi gloss paint they call "Underhood Paint" in lacquer. I'll probably give that a try.

Paint code for the black radiator support?

Ha, I'm not being a snob, and I'm not building a show queen, I just like the sheen of the original paint. VHT makes a Satin Black in rattle cans, I've used it on my frame and it's real close to the original. I just figured with the amount of paint it would take to do the wheel wells and rad...

Paint code for the black radiator support?

Does anyone have a code for the underhood black that's used on inner wheel houses and rad support? I'd rather not use spray cans, but if you know of a good match I'd might consider it.

    How to remove filler neck?

I'd try a new clamp and hose before i replaced the tank. the odds of it being the solder joint on both tanks are pretty slim.

Tech: How to Identify Original, GM Replacement, and Aftermarket Body Panels (Fenders, Hoods, Doors)

I'm thinking maybe GM replacement fenders had the stamp. My 85 has factory fenders without the stamps also. I've noticed that factory doors have seam sealer along the door skin lap to the inner door, and the aftermarket don't. I've got 9 doors here and that seems to hold true.

    Headlight bucket Question

I'm reinstalling my headlight buckets on my 85 with 4 lights, and I noticed there are two different configurations , (Besides the right and left.) there's 2 tabs where the elec socket would connect to the bulb that face different directions and not sure why, I can't see where it would make a...

    Replacement outer rocker fitment

Any chance you could show a pic of the fitment issue? I'm having trouble picturing it. If the rocker fits up with the fender and the cab corner, then it sounds like a door issue to me.

GMT 330 buckets in a Square? Anybody try it before?

Had some time to kill today so I hit the local yard to see what's new. I came across two Old's Bravadas that had some nice leather power bucket seats. Just wondering if anybody has used these in a square before. I didn't think to take a tape measure, but they looked like they'd fit nicely.

    OEM Tire size??

Not sure if they still did it in 88, but there's a data tag on the driver door of my 85 that has the tire and wheel size from the factory
