How's the gap between the hood and the cowl? if thats even , you might need to move the core support towards the passenger side.
It also looks like the drivers fender is to tight to the cowl. Shime that out and it will lessen the difference on the drivers side.
The Harbor Freight air dryer is supposedly a great unit,

I can't justify the cost for the amount of painting I do, plus I'm a cheapass.
I use a Moto Guard M-60 and it has worked well so far...
Ok so I've never seen this shield before until Jgonick posted a pic of one. Then an hour later I'm looking at an online catalog from AMD and BAM there they are. Weird how that works
I thought I'd add a pic of SPI black epoxy on my inner fenders that I shot yesterday if anyone was wondering what it looks like. This is 3 coats of epoxy and won't require a topcoat to make them look good. They'd look even better if I knew how to paint.
I got new inner fenders for my 85 k10 and like the old ones they have holes for something at the bottom of the cab end of the inner fender.
The old ones have long sheet metal screws in the holes but nothing attached to them. did they have a mud flap or something?
See the arrows at the bottom of...
The roof would have to be pretty bad to get me to replace it....Got any pic's of the hail damage? Might just need a good stud gun and a body hammer or two. Or better yet see what the Paintless Dent Repair people would charge ya.
SPI is an awesome product! It gets my vote, and there forum is second to none when you have a question. As is there tech line, which is answered by the company owner Barry.
Last I looked they were out of stock. (LMC). I just priced the rubber sections and a set would cost 210 plus. I'll end up using the poly bushings I have for that price.
I'm a little late to the party here, Are you looking for dimensions for these cross sills?
A quick measurement looks like 3" and another is 2.9" I can look closer if you need more info.
Hey DoppleG, in the last pic, bottom right corner is that a plug? looks like about 1-1/4" round with an X in it.
I've been thinking about installing a plug just to do a periodic inspection for rust. This truck will see some winter salt and slush.
nobody huh....How about a hint on where I can find something on how the factory did it....
@Keith Seymore , You must have seen a few of these, Can ya help an old guy out! haha.
No big deal I guess, I'll do it the way I want anyways.
