    Help Me Settle This!

hahahaha your brother sounds like mine everything he owns is worth a million bucks and most of it is junk. I will tell you one thing the engine you posted a picture of is not a 350 4 bolt main. that's a small journal 327 or a 283. in my book that's a 100 buck truck. highdesertranger

Strange Starting issue on 1980 Jimmy

this is exactly what I am talking about. before you just throw another ignition switch on there test it first. hell if the new one does the same as the original that means the original is probably good. if anything put the original back in and return the other. then test your neutral safety...

    What Diff is This?

there are 2 types of repair sleeves. one is real thick and the other real thin. they both work fine. the thin one uses a factory size seal. the thicker one takes a special seal. in other words if you use the thicker one you won't be able to walk into a parts store and say "I need a seal for...

Strange Starting issue on 1980 Jimmy

" Its weird tho because I already replaced the Ignition Switch" no it's not weird with todays junk Chinese parts. that's why I always recommend to do correct diagnoses and just throw parts at it willy nilly. you very well could be throwing out a superior part that was good for an inferior...

    Suburban Trailer???

I would say yes but do it right. the most common mistakes with homebuilt trailers are, 1. to short of a tongue. 2. using the rear axle for a trailer axle. highdesertranger
