    Parking brake inspection failure

no the small shoe goes on the front and the large shoe goes to the rear. you are also missing the spring on the crossover bar (white circle). what the hell are those 2 extra springs(black circle). also pinch your main springs so they are not so spread apart(yellow circle). highdesertranger

fill the void with grease then use an old trans input shaft. place the input shaft in the normal position and hit it with a big ole hammer. the pilot bearing should pop right out. I am surprised the slide hammer didn't work, that is what I use. highdesertranger

    79 k30 steering rebuild

kickdeez is correct, you should be able to run without a stabilizer and not have death wobble. likewise a stabilizer is not a fix for death wobble, it might stop/lessen it but it does not fix the problem. highdesertranger

    Need Help on Wheel Studs

maybe I didn't explain it right. the conversion kit should have came with studs. did it? then the alloys should have come with the proper lug nuts, did they? some alloy's take special lug nuts and when you place the wheel on the studs it appears there is not enough stud but in fact with the...

    Fueling issues

just put a hose where the selector was. last time I needed one the three port selector was available at a regular parts store. as a matter of fact so was the 6 port. it's a good idea to check all your rubber lines all the way from the tank to the carb. highdesertranger

i dont know how 4 wheel drive works

no it wouldn't move if it wasn't converted. the full time differential in the transfer case would send all the power to the front axle and with the hubs unlocked the truck wouldn't move. but that's good that it moved that means it's been converted. now the H means 2wd hi. the HLOC means 4wd...

i dont know how 4 wheel drive works

that shift pattern in your pic is for a 203 full time transfer case. it might have been converted to part time. to find out leave the hubs unlocked and shift the transfer into high, see if the truck moves. if it does it has been converted, it doesn't it means someone put hubs on it but...
