Steering column removal
so I am trying to figure out how to replace the floor seal for the steering column,,,auto column. Do I need to dismantle some of the bottom end to get the new seal around the column?- Ken B

Good Morning , I am doing a swap to a replacement cab , Anyone ever tried or accomplished a steel dash, wiring harness, steering column, pedal swap all at once? In my head, 5 dash bolts, 2 wiring harness screws, many steering column screws, some heater cables and wires. Am I missing... -

Door Conduits
On my replacement doors I have the end of the door conduit still attached, it was cut away from the cab at some point so I have that end to compare to my new conduits. Any advice on how to decide where to drill hole in cab ? Use 3 dimples as reference?- Ken B

What have you done to your square lately??
Got a good bit of sound deadening done. Time and materials ran short so I will get back into it....Noico is not to bad to work with. I thought it woulda been stickier More noico hopefully arrives today, just a half box 18 sq ft -

Replacement Cab
I was dealing with the exact same problem, these Indiana winters.....I found a donor truck that was out of the south and have been pillaging it for parts. I have an 81 cab that you described as exactly the same as yours. Good Luck on your hunt. lots of guys here might have contacts or parts.....- Ken B

Weld or Panel Adhesive?
I had a leak around rubber grommet for wires going thru firewall. That someone did not get it seated in all the way. Also some surface rust around fuse block....dunno how that seals......- Ken B

Steel Dash Removal
inquiring how others did the repair after the spot weld cut out phase. I have it welded up and grinding it down , self etching primer?, then a windshield mastic or possibly a brushable seamsealer? I thought about POR-15? -

Leak under dash?
I have been working under dash and I too have or had a leak near fuse block. Haven't dug Into that side yet. Passengers side is bare- Ken B
