I test fitted the Curt 13028 hitch with my stock step bumper and the top of the hitch receiver interfered with the bottom of the horizontal steel plate on the bumper below the license plate. I would have had to shim the hitch 3/4” down to the frame to make it work which I didn’t...

    Correction: It has the Dana 44 and 14 bolt (not Dana 60 as I mentioned before). That's good advice about the stereo. I have a VDO stereo leftover from another project that has blue tooth and an aux jack.

    Thanks, Craig! I had a friend whose street/strip car ran an auxiliary vacuum pump for that reason. I'll definitely keep you in mind if I head over towards Yakima.

    I can definitely understand that - I’ve had good luck with many carburetors over the years. The deciding factor for me was the altitude driving over the mountain passes. It’s been my experience that EFI is better at adjusting to the altitude (and the cold weather).
