    Try this again, You also have the battery wires running in the same spot, There is a protection plastic cover that attaches in the front but it wouldn't fit properly so I removed it.

    Tools are getting amazing, Found this and they are listed as a tap, not a drill set. They work awesome and they are stubby so you can get in places a drill bit won't. Bonus 1/4 chuck so they work with a impact also. Yes Dewalt has some too.

    Yea, I decided to do the same thing. instead of digging into the cluster plug. need some model paint for the orange needles but don't think i will go that far. Not sure if I'm going to keep it in the long run.

But the person removed the ammeter and installed the voltage meter but wired it to the power and ground of the water temp gauge.     Well that truck sat in that spot we moved it from for a long time, in weather from freezing to blazing hot. We regularly get 115 in the summer which rivals the temps you see in the Phoenix area. I happy that you're getting it back on the road again. Looks a lot better.
