    I bought a pack of them to put in my interior under the dash as foot well lights. Or anywhere else I might need some light. Thought maybe bolt to the underside of the hood incase I needed some light at night.

    This is gonna make me look dumb but, how do you wire this socket in? I grounded one wire and put the other one on pos side of battery and nothing.

    Got the grill back in. Getting ready for an inspection and start driving it. Yay! You can't tell in the picture bit only the halo lights are on when just running lights are on. The second has the lights on. It's hard to tell the difference. The bottom one glows a little with the lights on...

    I'm not either but it does its job and keeps it from over heating. The old 305 shroud was too big so I had to get this one. It's supposed to be for a bbc.

    It was this^. When I pulled off the alternator the plastic fan was pushed up against the alternator. With a mixture of washers and spacers I got tight without pushing the fan back. Noticed with the motor turning clockwise the fan blades seem to be in the wrong direction. I'm guessing it's...

    Took it to drop off the water bill at city hall night drop box. On the way home I stopped at the light and belt started squeeking. Couple of revs and it stopped. Got it home parked it. Open the hood last night and guess what? It threw the fcking belt because the alternator was locked up...

    Question about exhaust.

    Dualed 454 with Flowmaster 44's dump out side before rear tires. Not too loud but sounds good to me. Oh Lt hedders also. It was 500 bucks from headders back.

    Got the new ceramic connectors installed on the top two lights and wired up the halo lights to run off the running or parking lights. Had to put the old sealed beam back because the lights wouldn't work with it unhooked. As long as I can get it inspected I'll figure out the bottom two later.

    Nice! Gotta give ya credit waxing it by hand. I used to own a detail shop and have waxed many a vehicle. Your 81 short bed is how I pictured my 82. From color to bed rails and rims. Nice looking truck! Here's mine
