Just to update, since I typed the above. I called a local sandblasting place. He asked what year the truck was and told him an 86. He said the metal on these beds is not thick enough to handle sandblasting and said it would damage the metal before getting all the old liner off. Not sure if... -

I am wanting to put a spray in bed liner in my 86 K20. The issue is the donor bed I obtained and have on it had a DIY herculiner type liner put on it before I bought it, years ago. 80 % of it has worn off as the bed floor is basically bare meatal but the bedsides and wheel wells that don't get... -

Exhaust
Thanks Basically the truck had the exhaust on it when I got it and it had some issues. I took it to a local shop I trust to have it replaced. When I got back to pick it up he had fixed a couple things, added some new hangers, and said there was no need to replace it. So it has been as is...- midwest

Exhaust
Just curious....When I bought my truck it had 3 inch exhaust on it with headers. I took the headers off and went with stock manifolds but kept the three inch. I had the motor rebuilt and a mild cam in it but it is basically the stock horsepower give or take. Is having the 3 inch hurting...- midwest

Auto or manual locking hub ?
My truck was originally an auto locking truck but before i bought it the previous owner had put manual hubs in it. He owned a logging company and didn't trust the auto's. My doesn't see much 4WD time so it's never been an issue for me.- midwest

Thanks for the input. As for the measurement, I was measuring from outside of the hole to outside of the hole as this is what I assumed would be the minimum size the triangle opening should be. I assume the outer edge of the bracket, outside of the holes is what actually holds it in place... -
