73-80 LMC Dash Pad

I bought one from truck and car shop as well. Was cheaper than LMC and I would guess the quality is just as good. Like others have said, takes a little trimming but not much. For the price I was pleased with mine. -

I ordered my dash from the truck shop, just make sure you call them. Their online catalog prices are not real accurate, I don't think they update it too often. If you search on line for the 81-87 dash pads, they still show 239.00. They are 350.00 when you go to order one. -

Sanding 81 truck frame?
Not sure what type of finish you are looking for (show truck v daily driver) but about 17 years ago I just degreased and pressure washed my frame to remove anything that would flake off. Once it dried I painted it with POR 15 and it has held up since.- midwest

New Carpet, install Dynamat first?
Looks good. I bought the 36 square foot pack and it was more than enough for my standard cab. I didn't cover 100 percent of the cab but got 95% of the floor and still have over 1/2 the box left.
