    Thanks The step up reminds me of the bull bar on my mom's and mine old 74 burb(sold sadly love square body burbs) I'm thinking about adding a small 45° to cap it/gusset here's some more pictures extra bars not welded on yet more to come

    Some progress on the front bumper I think a few panels to fill the gaps plenty of room for a hideaway winch plans today are get the hoop on and go from there just kinda winging it with what I have :cool: :driver:

    Think it will look better without trying to use the factory chrome reminds me of some of the trucks had a huge bumper extension on them it would not stick out so much

    Made some progress on the front bumper I do like the original chrome/stock looks just need the protection from deer and thick brush I have to drive through

    Been working on the Jeep and the truck is about to get some more steel I have a idea to possibly hide the bars behind the stock bumper to keep the look while adding some beef kinda a cross between a cucv brush guard and a steel tube bumper, tubes are 2x4 and 4x4 3/16 some 3" channel upright bars...

    Had the joy of changing the wheel cylinder on my 83 cab and chassis had 2 harbor freight jacks fail on me and had to bust out the ViseGrips and a torch after wards could not get the rear to bleed even with vaccum turns out it was the proportioning valve was blocking the flow bled the front and...

    Made some end caps for the headache rack I'm going to cap them and add a dring so I can strap something to the rack if needed

    Truck dies on the side of the road. Any suggestions?

    Did exactly what my Jeep zj did when the pcm was acting up it was a "rebuilt" opened it up and nothing rebuilt about it in my case was broken solder joints where the main connection to the circuit board I found it by doing a wiggle test I'd avoid throwing parts at it start testing each system...

    Started this yesterday used 80 then 400 grit sandpaper follow up with a torch and some armor all for a free door panel restoration this could work on other plastic restoration Attempt at own risk

    Here's some more nerdy specs on cab and chassis this truck has the highest payload 6153 lbs it's 11000 lbs gvw :cool: :driver:to me it's the holy grail of square bodys although I prefer the sm465 over the th400 I don't have plans to swap it as I have other projects going on and this is my truck...
