    Is this radio original?

I actually have a sticker on my drivers side quarter window that says McKinley Toll Bridge on it. I'll send a picture later.

    Is this radio original?

Actually the cover plate was factory since the truck never originally came with a radio. The guy who owned it before cut a hole in the plate with a hole saw in order to fit the gauge.

Help! I can’t stop my coolant leak.

I think you got a cracked intake manifold around the housing. If I were you, I'd try to find the crack, rough it up, and JB weld it for just for now.

    Is this radio original?

Here is a picture of the original craigslist posing, May of 2018. This thing had so much bondo its not even funny. I've replaced both of the doors and the whole front clip. So if you were going to buy it, you didn't miss out. 37000 actual miles my ass.

    Is this radio original?

Wa I did not buy it with a horse trailer, but the guy who had it before may have (he didn't have it very long). The truck has spent its whole life in Illinois as far as I know.

    Is this radio original?

I might actually sell it if its worth that much since it does work very well.

    Is this radio original?

I actually am in class right now, but since my district is ran by a bunch of idiots, I can keep a pretty good GPA while doing basically nothing. I'm not complaining, but litterially all homework I get is for completion. I kind of miss real homework, but I have more time to build stuff and make...

    Is this radio original?

I just did some actual research and found that its a Becker Europa Highway HiFi AM/FM radio that would have came in a mid-50s Mercedes. Not a period radio, about 20 years older than period. They actually seem to go for a lot in working condition, but I probably won't sell it since I love how...

    driver side window

I know that it is thicker, but I did sucessfully fit the glass into the door from a '91. I did change the glass channels though.

    driver side window

A bit late, bit I got an extra one out of my '74. I went and bought a new door soon after my window mechanism screwed itself. I still got the old glass, and it should fit your '83. I swapped the glass from my original passenger door into the door and onto the mechanism from a '91 c3500.

292(or equiv) swap into a SBC truck?

I have sort of thought of doing the same thing in my '95 Suburban. The GMT400 platform was made with the inline 6's in mind, but they were only used in Brazilian trucks. I really like the little 250 in my '74, and I bet it would be great on gas in the 'Burb. It currently has a pretty worn out...

    Is this radio original?

Whoever installed it did a great job then. It is hooked to the in dash speaker, and somebody even went through the trouble of fabricating a factory looking mount as well as one for the amplifier. It has a rich sound, and you always have to wait for the tubes to warm up.

    Is this radio original?

When I bought my truck, I assumed that the radio was original. The radio is an AM/FM Mono radio. I recently realised, though, that it doesn't show up on the build sheet, and it is in a location that I haven't seen any other square body radio in. It also still uses TUBES. '74 is a bit late...

    Saddle Leather Seat

I was thinking more of cutting out the bad section and sewing some non embossed material in its place. I pretty much want to keep at least this part somewhat original. The most I have ever delved into upholstery it recovering my grandmothers golf cart seat with some cheap vinyl and a staple gun...

    Saddle Leather Seat

The seat in my yellow truck has seen better days. When I bought the truck it was pretty much mint, but that following winter it started to crack up pretty bad around where I sat. I tried to patch it, but that ended up looking like shit. I have only seen an image of one other truck with...

What have you done to your square lately??

Yea, for some reason one of the previous owners painted the top of the rear bumper. so I did the same.

What have you done to your square lately??

Finished painting the truck and painted/installed the new dashpad.

What have you done to your square lately??

Not paint hardener, hardener for the fiberglass resin.

What have you done to your square lately??

These are some reasons why: (I swear, there isn't a straight panel on the truck) I've also have had a lot of trial and error over the years trying to paint it, so it took me a while to come up with this. (some pictures of it in the daylight)

What have you done to your square lately??

Linseed oil makes the color richer, the resin and hardener makes it get super hard and durable.

Will a c10 front bumper fit a k10? From the same year?

Yes, the the only difference between the c10 and k10 is that the K10 has 4WD.
