What have you done to your square lately??

I replaced the drivers side door skin/fixed the fender (where I cut it). I do have a door skin for the other side, but I think going to try and beat out the dent on that side instead.

What have you done to your square lately??

I'm going to be doing a little bit every day until I have the body fully welded up, then I'm going to have it sandblasted, and I'll begin the Bondo work. I'm spraycanning it yellow due to the fact that its my only running/driving car right now, and I want it looking respectable I hope that...

What have you done to your square lately??

I welded in my new wheel well then spray canned over it, not too bad looking compared to how it was before.

    Passenger door replacement

On my '74 GMC, I got one door from a '73 and the other from a '91 k3500 box truck. They all seem to interchange with the main difference being the way the door panel mounts, and the thickness of the glass (though older window tracks will interchange).

What have you done to your square lately??

The cop at my school is usually pretty cool about it, he'd lut us do burnouts all the time back when I ran car club.

What have you done to your square lately??

Here's a photo my friend took of the truck in the drive by. I had my bother, sister, and cat with me in the cab (they both gratuated from dunlap as well). It was a fun time.

What have you done to your square lately??

Yea, I before the shit hit the fan, Me and my friends were all going to bring trailers to school and park diagonally taking up all of the spots on the last day. That parking lot is already packed pretty tight as is. While leaving the lot in the drive by, though, I did do a massive one wheel peel.

What have you done to your square lately??

Today was going to be the date of my high school graduation. Instead, we are doing a drive by at the school in front of all the staff. So, I decided to get a bit festive with some plastidip. The truck is already the school colors, (maroon and gold) so the red compliments the hood.

Oil consumption problems on my stock 87 305tbi-350 carb

My '95 suburban had used to smoke due to a bad PCV valve, but now it runs absolutely mint, so that was my first idea. Also my '74 GMC used to burn a quart every 60-80 miles, and it always fowelled plugs in a similar fashion to the '88, but I just finally fixed it recently after swapping out the...

Oil consumption problems on my stock 87 305tbi-350 carb

I bypassed the PCV valve and installed a breather, so its not that, it also doesn't have a catalytic converter, I am about 90% sure that the valve seals are abolsolutely shot. I'm also running 20w50 oil in the sucker. Have an of you had good luck with additives such as rislone at fixing the...

Oil consumption problems on my stock 87 305tbi-350 carb

My '88 chevy with 237k on it seems to lose a quart every 20-30 miles or so. I didn't think it was that worn out when I bought it, but it is. I am seriously going through like a quart a day just driving it daily. It doesn't smoke very much though, only when starting cold. It also keeps foweling...

    Long Time Lurker

I bet you could install an after market radio and still make it look great. When I bought my truck, I was sure that the radio was original when I looked at it (Didn't know much about squares back then). It is so perfectly integrated into the dash, they you wouldn't know that it is actually...

    Long Time Lurker

I just finished swapping the head out on my '74 250 for the head off of a 194. I get higher compression with the with that head, and it doesn't have burned exhaust valves like my other one. I say you should either build up that 250 with a nice cam (Port the head too) or just get Mercruiser...

What have you done to your square lately??

Not too bad, I can tell that your door has some sag and is rubbing the rocker. I got the same issue on my truck, but to a much larger extent. At least its in the door jam, you could fix it easilly without having to worry about a color match to the rest of the truck.

    One side sagging

I don't know if you can tell, but my truck saggs to the passenger side. The guy I bought it from was pretty fat, so I always joke that its in order to conpensate for his weight.

What have you done to your square lately??

I just pulled the head off my engine, and I seem to have a slightly burnt valve. Luckily, I have a whole new higher compression head (from a 194 i6) to swap on.

What have you done to your square lately??

After this happended to my flywheel (2 years after the fact) I actually replaced it. I also upgraded to an 11 inch clutch. I even "rebuilt" my transmission. Using my "Transmission rebuild kit. Now the clutch actually works and doesn't rattle.

What have you done to your square lately??

Man this flywheel is bad. There are groves as much as probably 50 thousands of an inch deep, I don't think its surfaceable. I've been driving 2 years with it that way. Originally when I bought the truck, I knew it needed a clutch, so I replaced it (after it completely exploded on me) and...
