    Aftermarket Turn Signal wiring?

    No power at all

Today's batteries aren't as long lived as those in the past.. Whan a battery , no matter the warranty, reaches 2 years old, it's nearing it's normal life span. Block question

Over the years, Chevrolet has looked for ways to lighten the engine blocks. Various areas are now thinner as a result. That hole in the pan rail serves no purpose after the block is fully machined and the engine is assembled. The threaded hole that "empties" into it is used to attach various...

    Tie rod angle

The front bolt of the two bolts that mount the upper control is slightly higher than the rear bolt. As the upper arm arcs up, a slight amount of caster is added.. This cancels out the effects of the camber/toe change because the tie rod moves it's parallelism with the lower control arm. All this...

    Tie rod angle

The tie rod should be the same length and parallel to the lower control arm shaft to ball joint.

    Fusible link replacement

If that fusible link hasn't blown or otherwise failed in some manner, just leave it as is.. If it needs replacing, remove it by cutting where the two wires are joined.. Install a 16 gauge fusible link on each of the two wires..

    Fusible link replacement

The alloy of the wire in a fusible link is not conducive to solder bonding.. Unfortunately, a well applied butt splice is the only way to join a fusible link to a copper wire..
