    I'm a legend

My first project with GM was Buick's Head Carpenter/Head Rigger 1994. It was a long run after that... My "umbrella" remark was supposed to be funny... Lil' mid-western humor... I've worked for Rhianna as her Stadium Rigger too. That event was where the "umbrella remark" I wrote, were first...

This is a clean Quad for sale: It has the extra fuel screws for adjustment, throttle linkage in excellent shape and clean throat. The screw caps are in tact. The eleactic choke is 100% included. Just has to be remounted. All parts are here... Was considering modifying to manual and went a...

    Throttle Body Base... 17087004, TPS...

I have this listed elsewhere... It was on my 87' truck when I bought it. The truck came with 3900 miles with a Jasper 355HO Marine Long Block. I pulled the stock manifold and this TBI and put on my new heads, and the new manifold all assembled, as one unit. Took 2 hours for the entire top...

ESC need someone that knows more about ESC system than I do

The yellow wire was broken when I opened it up to inspect it. The plastic was barely hanging on by a thread at the coil connection underneath. We only have 2 shops in town. Everything else is 60-100 miles away, so a lot of times the repairs done locally are complete unit replacement. Engine...

ESC need someone that knows more about ESC system than I do

Don't mean to interupt your thread... This is the distributor I was speaking about... It has the 5 pin module... The Number on it is 1103465. If I'm not mistaken, it is the ESC distributor, please correct me if somebody can cross-reference the number... Not certain if the module in here uses...

Distributor thoughts needed on an issue

From what I've read, almost all the recurve kits are really made for race applications... I can see if I have a spare large cap distibutor laying around with good springs... If I can find it, it probably needs a new coil under the magnet and new ignition module. It was originally from a...

Greetings and seeking advice from San Diego!

Build a convertible... https://www.gmsquarebody.com/attachments/safariburb1-jpg.82529/ You can get creative and still make a cool truck... This was probably cheaper than a full restore.., if he bent and welded the Tubing himself... Here's a Blazer... Something like this would work as...

    Radiator recore or buy new?

Yah. they crack without maintaining them... overall the plastic tank and the unusual aluminum metallurgy is your friend... When you blow a head gasket and drive for 15 miles, afterwards, you ruined your radiator too... If you bought an overheated truck or one with an overheated radiator...

    Griffin Radiator

Not without electronics to control temps perfectly... The Griffin is originally designed as a 2 year core for racing and is disposable... Call them and ask yourself... Every race team who uses them uses supplemental cooling while standing still... BIG FAN... They look cool though... Are you...

    I'm a legend

Most guys out West, just wear a ranch hat... You wanna get fancy, you take $400 to the haberdashery and buy a Beaver Fur Stetson... Custom Built by a craftsman... I can't see why anyone would want an umbrella... 60 mph wind will wreck that first time out, with a quickness.... You bought a...

    OER headlight buckets. Don't buy.

So the parts are dirt cheap to reproduce, the guy making them is a slave and the only people making out is the cargo container handling company... nearly everone loses... in the long run. This is not free market capitalism, this is a scam. I would not be surprised if an American sold the...

Exhaust gas recirculation (egr) system 1989 tbi

My Old's Cutlass had a clogged EGR constantly. The cheap fuel in the deep South was terrible. It came with Alligator Urine in it... swear word here... I sprayed it out dozens of times to keep it clear. The problem with blocking off the EGR is the cavity under the manifold... An EGR manifold, is...

    OER headlight buckets. Don't buy.

What a shame... Many people are reporting these parts as thin, sub standard reproductions across the entire line of parts. Why would a manufacturer go through all the trouble of tooling up a punch press and skimp out on the steel used? We need to start making these things at home again... The...

700R4 Governor Malfunction/Replacement and Custom Pressure Gauge Installation...

My 700R4 had to be replaced Feb 2021. So I contacted a reputable builder and sent my money off for the down payment. The lockdown caused major supply issues and it took until Dec 2021 to get my build. It came brand new, not rebuilt, with a new case and internals. I requested the lock-up to be...

    Belt Squeak

That sucks... exactly what my statement regarding Dman or used parts... So many engines get pulled and dropped on the crank and balancer, if the engines was hit in an accident or pulled and dropped on the ground, the bottom pulleys get bent. The stuff from Dman has been bad, even though it's...

    Belt Squeak

Wobble means something is wrong... The balance matters, buy a good pulley from March... Junk yard parts could ruin your engine if they are not balanced. DO NOT RUIN YOUR ENGINE USING **** PARTS.

Listen to Matt69Olds... Delete it, NO Lock UP, problem solved forever... Non lockup valve... FTW Buy a non locking converter and move on...
