    Axle width/body width questions

    I didn’t like the look of the narrow rear axle on my C1500. I added 1 1/2” spacers to give it a more pleasing stance. although it looks great, you do lose some turning radius. But that’s something I can live with.

    It warms my heart that you’re getting rid of the 22s.. They don’t belong on a Square Body ;).IMHO A short sidewall like a 235/60 sometimes looks disproportionate on a 15X8 Rally because it doesn’t FILL the Wheel arch/Wheel well. A lot of Guys here run the 255/70 R15… the sidewall is shorter than...

    Yeah the truck is an ‘84, the bezels are staying, as soon as I find that ‘84 Grille, the ‘85 is comin’ off. I have a few ‘85-87 bezels. just sold a beautiful chrome set to @Mr Clean. And the ‘85 Grille just Sold !

    So it’s like this when sitting on level pavement?, It may not be the bed But worn body mounts/Cab mounts ? IDK just a thought. Park it on perfectly level pavement, Take some measurements. Ground to wheel Arch, Ground to Frame, Check for level on front of Bed and top of tailgate.

    You guys could be right.. maybe 15X7” the seller lists them as 15X8” but when you zoom in on the pics, they sure look like 7s I’d bet that the seller is measuring wrong..probably outer lip to outer lip. Instead of the bead. ?

    Did you replace the bulbs with the LED type? They made a big difference for my Dash, and I lined the back of the black gauge surround with chrome tape.
