What did you pay for a square
My 1973 Chevy long bed c20 cost me $50 in 1991 then it was parted out. My 1976 Chevy short bed K10 cost $1000 in 1989, went through a restoration and sold for $4250 in 1995. Lastly, my current 1975 GMC short bed K15 cost $6000 in 2008- 45tt

Love the unique color combo. With it being so rare, it’s worth keeping it that way. Trust me, it’ll grow on you. I struggled early on with the Yuba gold on my truck, but now I will not change it because that’s the color it has always been.- 45tt

76 gmc maximum tire size
With no lift, the biggest I ever went was 32x11.50x15. I noticed anything bigger would rub on certain angles of approach/descent, unless you trim fenders, like bucket mentioned- 45tt

What have you done to your square lately??
Went and got gas in the ole truck before the gas prices shoot up and decided to break out the truck cover since there’s no humidity in Florida after the hurricane blew through. I normally don’t use it because it always seems too humid. It fits perfectly, wish I could use it more often. -
Needed headlight knob/rod for 73-76 square
I tried taking it off and combining the new rubber with the old rod, but I stopped short because I could feel it getting ready to break. I didn’t want to be without one even if it is sticky. It’s just weird that the rods were shorter on the older squares. -

Anybody modify the 4x10 speaker mounts in the back?
I modified mine to accommodate 6x9’s using the existing mounting locations with no magnet issues. -

Here’s the one the guy had that I got the wheels from. He lowered it 4” and put mustang wheels on it. It has really cool factory ground effects and a strange two tone gray leather interior that he said was part of the original package.- 45tt

New key chain and shirt

Do these racing stripes work on this square?
I’ve been contemplating the same thing for years and if I ever pull the trigger I’ll be going with the 70 Chevelle SS stripes in gloss black.
