    For you LS swap guys.

This is based on a good running '06 motor with ~120k miles on it that lasted a few years with only a few gasket changes on install. Then a (prepull) $600 '04 (purchased last year) that lasted less than 10 months. The '04 was "sold" as an '06 with 145k....computer said it was an '04 4.8....no...

    For you LS swap guys.

less than 150k for me for anything w/o AFM. If it's got the AFM (DOD), think twice about it. The AFM stuff can mess up ANY TIME. The seller doesn't know the history, you don't, and sh|t happens. If I were to buy an AFM with higher miles (for me over 80k), I'd plan on ditching the AFM with...

What have you done to your square lately??

changed the oil after break in period. Fired it up to turn the wheels to look at the drag link. Then I noticed the oil pressure was about 28 instead of 45. Gave it a few seconds, then jumped out to look to make sure I could get to the drag link. thats when I saw a 3'x3' pool of oil. As I...

The wisest way to modernize a C20

@SirRobyn0 another thing is I've got wasted space in the saddle tank area as I've done the 'burb tank upgrade. I couldn't do it like your's, but if it could be done...tool boxes, water tanks, side winch....it's just wasted space currently.

    Shift rod issue

another video to add in case you've had yours off for a while and need to verify geometry. BTW, mine has a hole for a pin, but it doesn't reach through enough to get one in. D/L'd both for future reference for myself.

@SirRobyn0 "As a side benefit exhaust differential and fuel tank work is super easy. I can pop a my sending units out in just a few minutes!" Thats why I'm interested in it. Would be great for keeping it clean under there as well. Thanks for the pics.

    6.0 swap

-98 camaro 5.7 temp sensor (3 wire). This will provide the ECM the temperature as well as your stock gauge. -oil pressure adapter from Autometer (so you can use your existing "bell" pressure sender back by the firewall).

    6.0 swap

since it's not a daily driver, I would do the 'burb tank mod. It's highly suggested to have baffles for your fuel pump (if it's in the tank). I'm guessing your tank(s) don't have baffles. So for about $20 more than a saddle tank, you can have a 'burb tank with baffles and more capacity. If...

Connect phone to factory AM radio

in a pinch I'd just do a bluetooth speaker until you know exactly what you want to do. Then once you've got the truck sound fixed, you've got a BT speaker for the garage. No money wasted.

    Lower steering shaft

Not sure about your question BUT.... While your there, look at replacing your intermediate shaft with a Jeep Cherokee shaft. It eliminates the rag joint and play. link below. https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/retro-mod-jeep-intermediate-steering-shaft.1812/

rustoleum, converter, what? before welding patch panels in?

brush/grind, clean, rust converter of your liking. Then prime/paint, paint, or coat depending on what product you want to use. Follow the directions for any products used in both sentences mentioned previously. I like Ospho as a rust converter. Look up rust converters, read up on them here...
