Multiple Battery types and the danger of diode damage with modern batteries mixed with Lead Acid and OEM alternators.

Something similar crossed my mind in the past few weeks. Most lead acid chargers charge at ~13.5, while AGM charge at ~14.5. Years back I ordered an AGM charger from Batteryminder thinking more was better. Learning more through the years, I called them and asked them about my charger on a...

What have you done to your square lately??

lol no, it's what left of a cast concrete mixer. The bit that went over the bottom of the drum broke, so I nabbed the motor and scraped the rest. Was going to use it to mix deer minerals once a year (~300 #'s worth). Was free so i didn't care to scrap it. Saved the motor and chain for...

Watching TruckU on TV today, they mentioned a sponsor that has a flush that will break up the Dexcool gel if you have that issue. Link below. Wanted to share and this was the quickest post to get to before I forget lol. Thor-Flush

What have you done to your square lately??

Ran outta gas due to "empty" line moving on gauge. I did the tank relocation under the bed with a 31 gallon burb tank/sender a few years ago. Probably a wiring issue as the gauge has full sweep. Both sender and tank are 87 'burb. Anyway, I put 2 gallons in it and ran about 6 miles to work...

agree, that's my gauge instead of mileage. I'll sea foam it sometimes to see if it will help it last longer.

    Adding AC after ls swap

Wanting to do the same and replace old condensors and such, I'm looking at around $1,000. This includes a high mount bracket which are way over priced. FYI, years back when ICT had the brackets for the old compressor for ~$300 and also sell the new high mount bracket for a new sanden...

I hate the power window and door lock switches

agree totally. Flex on either is an issue, cold solder joints happen from soldering technique and/or from vibration. Most folks that use crimps use the standard type and half the time use them incorrectly and they aren't very pretty to be honest. Of course I'm talking about the type you'd...
