Year before mine, but it's back to points. Had a 79 FLH but give it to a young man a few months ago. Yes sir, that Shovel sound is addictive.

    Which welder?

Lot of times wire feed problems is just a wore out liner. My experience is one can keep the stinger lead straight and it works, bend it some and it dont, it's the liner. But hell a dirty contact tip will cause it as well. Edit to add. Seems flux core is more prone to issues than solid wire.

    Which welder?

If your stick machine is DC, how about just a TIG torch? If you just want to buy a little wire welder, I would agree and go with the Hobart, unless things have changed again, Miller owns Hobart and basically the new Hobart is the old Miller, so it has the kinks worked out. Personally I do not...

Little help from the Holley guys please.

Holley website says that this is the greatest carb ever made! Was hard to fathom they said that. What do ya'll suggest, pump it full of gas and see if it leaks? If not, stick it on and see if it works. Or get a rebuild kit and work on it till it is fo sho broke?

    Turbo 350 and fluid question.

Will do. Far as being low, I have no idea. Not a puddle under it now, where it was sitting when i picked it up, nor where it has sat since I got it back. So?? Dunno at this point.

    Turbo 350 and fluid question.

Working on my 76 GMC Sprint, not exactly a square but a little cousin. Daughter has had the car for several years, got her a rebuilt trans a few years ago, she had it put in. Just over a year ago it went to giving her issues. How her life was falling apart she bought herself a new car. Year ago...

What new tools have you got lately?

Been there done that. Why I never....well very seldom... "tie" a grinder cord to an extention cord. Practice that with big drills as well.

Tire time need thoughts on slight size change

Yes Sir, makes sense, though seems I've noticed grippers on the front were harder to "push" through mud? Snow could be different? Any way, looks good and good luck with them Sir.
