    Just woke up and thought of this. What do the other gauges do? When the oil pressure drops. It could just be a ground. Electrical problem and we are 2 pages in and first mention of a ground. But, there were labatory dicks swinging around and laws being written. What do the other gauges do?

    hahaha. This is getting funny. Like said by all the above it all but has to be a wire grounding. This can be proved by Shakeys law of 1986, if it has a wire it is probably broke.

    Water pump pulley should just wiggle off.After the belts and nuts are off. Power steering pump all but takes a special tool/ puller, it's worth the money if you use it twice.

    Why it's going to the track. Just not going to put the money and work into a car that it would take that unicorn to come along and buy it for a price I want. It has been listed in both central Oklahoma and South eastern Kansas with no decent offers.

    On the subject. Do you know of a 12 volt "oil can" coil that would run with out a resistor? When jacking with above said motor cycle, added a resistor and lost spark, kinda, found later after buying a motor cycle coil (5 ohm) that the brand new battery had went kerplunk.

    Was playing with this the other day on my motorcycle. Same ish set up, chevrolet points and 2 2.5 ohm coils, with no resistor the coils were awful hot in short order. Can't see them lasting long with the straight 12 volt, no resistor to them.

    What power steering pump do I need

    I've only seen the hydro boost on one tons, 30's. On the small blocks I've seen/have it has a "regular" power steering pump. Prob just need a pump for a hydro boost system.
