Well, they do stack! Have 3 of them now, 2 Airco Bumblee Bees and now this Miller, they are the exact same machines. Know if I run into any others in the 400 dollar - range I'll snag them.
Anything like mine, if it's leaking out the crack it aint out? Sorry I've no idea, but will want to one day when I get it off cleaned up ,welded and back on. Figure if it's close to the top hole it's full.
Read through this when you first put it up, couldn't really figure out the problem. Figure the width is adjustable and has been hacked? Adjustable is nice at times, permanant is stronger. If you dont need the adjustability could you not replace the cross pieces with solid?
Unless destroyed ie, crushed, cut or bent, no they are fixable. The brand names are anyway, Victor, Smith Harris. Though parts are becoming hard to find and because of liability not readally avilable to the public consumer.
Was unaware they didn't? Prob why I have a sand rail. Once this race car is done, figure we will put the auto trans and rear end we are taking out of it and put in the rail. Tool around our little town, go out in the country and chase coyotes or antalope.
Little update, haven't worked on the car. Been gathering parts and pieces. Our trans blow up proof bell housing and possible head cores. Supposed to be good casting number heads?
And have a sand rail..
This is what I have understood, via the interweb. What I have not been able to assertain for certain is, is the 12 bolt car and 12 bolt truck the same design? Like the pinion being below center of the ring? Also seems there are 3 different 12 bolt trucks, good, gooder and goodest that are...
Yup the Street Stock class. Will run it in Amarillo mostly, I'm 45 mile west of there. I've never done it, never built a race car, I mean bone stock ignorant, but I ve been driving a while and everybody needs a 53 year old rookie. Got the itch to so here we go.
Your defrost/a/c selector has to be hitting a wire when you slide it over to defrost. Fan speed and what holes blow are not related. Fan is electric selector is vacume. Or, that's all I've ever seen.
Things have been crazy so.
Have got the seat mount figured out, seat is bolted down. Mount will stay clamped on for a while.
Couple braces under the hood
Went to work getting the pedal assembly figured and fabed.
Hope to get them in today.
Yes, have been and are both now 2 and 4 wheel drive, no diffreance. Try to extend the shifter out, make it longer and see if it "fits" better. They just always seemed to short to me, suspect it's for the benefit of the one riding *****?
The 5' 9" 150 pound (not sure the weight is correct, but it is close) American male human. What everything was engineered around back then. So, if you ain't 5'9" it ain't "right". Heat it up and bend it to fit you, just has to clear the dash. Personally I extend all mine 6"... I believe, been a...
These old cars are stiff. Passanger side jack is an inch higher than drivers side. Week ago drivers side frame was about an inch off its jack. Almost a week later it settled down.
Now its time for some weld out. My TIG is mighty rusty but coming around.
