How to lean a Edelbrock 1406?

I have not heard of a way to route it to the selector valve (I could be wrong here) but I believe most go right to the sender on the tank. Which i would also think might require changing depending if yours have the port for a return or not. Also edelbrock says they have a max of 6.5psi I have...

How to lean a Edelbrock 1406?

Easiest would probably be to go to a single out port fuel pump and plumb the return line from the regulator to the return line that currently goes from the pump. Edit: Just re-read your post and saw that your pump is a return-less style not the return style I thought I read it was.... my bad...

What have you done to your square lately??

Drove it to work today, just like every day. But this time when I parked it I found my passenger floor board covered in coolant :Stupid Me: Looks like I'll be putting in a new heater core in this weekend.

    Wheel spacers

For what it matters, I'm with eskimomann209 on this one. While I would love to have the rear tires at the same width as the fronts. I've seen a few people get passed by their own bouncing tire when their spacer let loose.

HELP! Nv4500 Swap, so many transfer cases so little time.

When I'm able to do this swap. I was/am planning on sticking with my np208 and swapping out the input shaft with a 32 tooth from high impact. Mainly just for the simplicity of not having to screw with spacing things, speedo stuff, and relocating mounting points. However, the second that 208...

    Radiator help

Best part of the copper/brass rads is that most times they can be repaired, new ones come with a high price. If you can, keep the copper/brass setup over an aluminum.

    Remflex?

I use them. And will only be using them in the future. I do like how they crush when tightening them. Definitely follow the instructions when installing them. And do not overtighten. I also used the wedge lock style header bolts and have not had any issues with them. Was recommended to me by an...

    Terrible Gas Mileage

The OD does make a HUGE difference. It's been some moons now but when I was 16 I had this same engine a little less built in my 86 c20 (was a diesel I swapped) that had a th400 and some very low rear gears. I hotrodded the sh*t out of that truck and probably got 6-8.

    350 head bolts?

Head bolts aren't going to keep headers from coming loose. I also don't think the headers caused the head bolts to loosen. ARP head bolts are very much so worth the cost and I personally would recommend them on any engine, just for the reassurance, over old head bolts. As for headers coming...

    Terrible Gas Mileage

My k20 4wd, mild build 350/700r4 (big factor here I know) 2" lift, 33s and 4:10s. Has been consistently getting me 11.8 mpg combined. My drive to work from the new house is max 55mph and some in town driving. Before it was 90% highway and I'd still get around that 11.8 mpg. I've been feeling...

    TH350 to 700R4 Swap

A 700r4 will sacrifice some dependability and simplicity for an OD gear ratio compared to your th350. An NV4500 is a pretty easy swap and nets best of both worlds but in a 5 speed package. If wanting to keep an auto most would rather skip the 700r4 and go to a 4l80e. One of those "do it right...

    Free 16.5 8 lug wheels and 33s.

I'd be willing to take a day trip and met someone part way., but that still doesent get much closer. I'm not sure how much shipping them on a pallet would run someone. Probably a pretty penny anymore.

    Free 16.5 8 lug wheels and 33s.

I have them posted on the local CL for $150 and haven't had anything come back from them. So I figure if I can't give them away here I might end up making them into furniture, which would be pretty sad. Here's pictures of the tread. Really getting tired of them taking up space in the new garage.

    Free 16.5 8 lug wheels and 33s.

Tires hold air, have decent tread but are super old. Wheels have some clear coat issues but could be stripped and cleaned up pretty nicely. Tires are 33x12.5 BFG MTs. Really, I’ll never need these again and they are taking up garage space. If you come and get them, you can have them. Rough...

What have you done to your square lately??

Drove into work through some white shit. New tires did great, no slipping at all, passed alot of accidents on the way. People around here don't see much snow so when it falls its complete madness. @AuroraGirl glad you're doing better. Lots of prayers sent your way.

Looking into a new compact car.

I've had two wrx. An 04 and an 06 wagon. Both were amazingly fun before they were totalled. They were the wife's DDs. VERY safe cars too btw. Maintenance wasent needed much.. but when it was needed it was not cheap. 100k miles make sure the timing belt has been done. Clutches are easy enough to...

Easy to install trans cooler and temp gauge recommendations

I'm not able to find the thing I read many moons ago now. I do believe that aftermarket deep pans should specify which filter to use. Or include an extension for the factory filter. If not factoring in the fluid sloshing around. And the fluid is up to the same level as the shallow pan (stock...

Easy to install trans cooler and temp gauge recommendations

@82sbshortbed I really don't know completely, but when I was researching mine I read something. It basically said with the deeper pans you do have more fluid capacity. However, with the deeper pan the fluid in the pan can slosh around more. If the filter is not extended down towards the bottom...

Easy to install trans cooler and temp gauge recommendations

Stock dipstick will work. But for deeper pans you usually want a deeper filter or a filter extension so you don't starve the trans of fluid. I used this pan which gives more fluid, has some passive cooling. But doesent need a longer filter or extension because the stock filter sits on top of...

Need ideas to help me choose wheels

Hell if your close enough to Oregon. And don't mind 16.5s I have a set of American racing ar62 outlaw 2 wheels I'd about give to you. They are more of an offroad look though.

Need ideas to help me choose wheels

I missed that it is a c20. That does throw a wrench in the rallye wheel option. Unless someone put in the extra work (alot of work) and convert it over to a 5 lug. Or you go with custom made wheels (big bucks). Edit: These look about as close as one could get. However, they are from a 90s era...
