    It's possible. The bracket on mine was completely broken. It had a previous repair job on it that didnt hold up. Dont know if it's a common issue or not.

    That's the cam in my Tahoe. NV4500 with 4.88 gears with 35" tires is perfect. It doesn't like it really under 2000 RPM but it is a little on the heavy side. 4.11 or 4.30 would be my pick.

    You should be able to pull out the screws for the rear track to give you enough slack to get it in the front. Check the bracket for the rear track-mine was broken and just like this when I got it.

    Did you put any lube on the tracks? I use this stuff on the tracks, felts, hinges, etc...

    Got my x-pipe fixed last week so its off the driveshaft, drove it a few times to break in the gears. Couldn't resist testing the duragrip today....tires sure don't put much rubber down. Got my 6.5 rally mounted up and washed off some dirt....and some more rusty sheet metal :rofl:

    Are the slots not to the rear of the bolts? Looks like it's all the way forward to me.

    That block is stronger than the frame its bolted to. The frames are tin cans on these things.

    Since there's 4 bolts, run 2 with spacers and 2 without. Bolts down on the short ones. Bolts up on the ones with spacers if it's 305 powered. All the bases should be covered.

    Slid mine up around an inch. Welded some extensions on the bracket mount under the dash. As far as I could go without moving the neutral safety switch. Had to adjust the shifter linkage too.

    Unless they can send you pics of some with the right width roller I'd be leery of sending em back if everything else fits. Made in China like everything else I'm guessing?

    Need Help with Rear Brakes.

    Pull out the bleeder screws and pump the pedal. Sometimes trash, rust, etc gets stuck in there and they won't bleed. I'd put new screws in while I was there too.

    Got the master cylinder on and brakes bled....test drive to start breaking in the gears and had a bunch of noise coming from somewhere :confused: Almost started freaking out but its just one of the driveshaft weights hitting the x pipe.....guess I get to fix that next :emotions122:

    Got the new rear installed. Tomorrow is new u joints for the driveshaft, new master cylinder and getting the brakes bled hopefully

    Too close IMO. Drive side has a hard line at the root and rounded at the top. Pull out some shim.
