Question about converting to a roller cam
You will need a hold down spider and dog bones if you are going to use stock lifters and your block has the provision to mount it. Or link bar roller lifters. If you are running a mechanical fuel pump a bronze tip push rod could be needed. New valve springs. (depends on the cam) If you have to...- ali_c20

1986 K10 wheel 4x4 decals/inserts
The front ones are open because of the locking/auto/fixed hub. The rear ones are closed with the sticker on it.- ali_c20

Starter Interference
Try to find an original starter for a 168 flexplate and mount it. If the original starter fits the after market starter is the issue. Shiming the starter at the outer bolt will move the gear closer to the flex plate but that is normally only used for fine adjustment of the gear gap. Is the block...- ali_c20

Starter Interference

VINTAGE AIR QUESTION
Which Vintage Air system are you going to use ? I installed a complete kit in my wife's 69 Mustang. Was a good decision, all parts in the kit and everything fits, no fiddling stuff together and fabricating custom parts. Pricey but worth my wife's $$$ (:- ali_c20

Welcome. I know that the dash bezel lenses for indicators and high beam are available but I've never seen any of the other lenses. I think you have to find a good old one.- ali_c20

Ball joints
True. Lots of PB Blaster or WD40, let it sit for some hours, respray, wait again and than work it with a bfh. Did that on my K5 and they came off after 2 days. Do not hit any of the machined parts.- ali_c20
