    New cap, rotor, and wires last night. Next, hopefully, I can get around to the door window rubber.

    I have a new theory on the mystery wires. I think that they may have went to a cruise control unit of some kind. I haven't traced it back through the dash yet, but there is a (aftermarket?) cruise control switch tucked up under the steering column that may be connected to it.

    Apparently I'm a huge *******. The whole issue was caused because I put the wrong bulb in the reverse socket and it was grounding out.

    I replaced the rear wiring harness today. Note the Home Depot twist connectors and dry rotted electrical tape that I found on the old one. Also fixed a speedo cable leak and changed out the transmission fluid and filter.

    Weird reverse issue

    sometimes. It has a speedo cable leak as well as a pan leak. Planning on fixing both of those this weekend.

    TH350 When the trans is cold, like sitting for several days, when I put it into reverse it doesn't always immediately go into gear. This almost never happens when the truck has been running for a while. Am I looking at a complete overhaul? Truck has very low miles ~57,000.

    Sometimes, mine doesn't want to go into reverse right away if I haven't started it up for a few days. It is a 350/350. The trans fluid doesn't smell burnt at all, but I'm wondering if it would be detrimental to change the trans fluid filter. I just got the truck in July so I'm still doing...

    There are several videos on Youtube where people have put Cummins 4bt engines into squares. If I had the money, I think that I'd look into that.

    If you could manage the 3.0 Duramax with the 10 speed trans that would be sweet. I have that setup on my 2021 4x4 1500 and over 27,000 I'm averaging 25mpg.

    If your truck won't turn over at all, try reaching around with your left hand and pulling the gear shift farther into the park position and hold it there while you try to crank it. Iv'e had two different trucks in the past that I had to do this to. Anyone have a tip on how to remove window...

    My '78 C15 is a long bed and I had to tow it about 100 miles when I bought it. It fit on a uhal trailer, but just barely. NOT the dolly, a trailer.

    Windshield Wiper Fuse Location

    On mine the wipers work just fine, but the washer fluid will not spray out. Would that use the same fuse or would it be a different one?

    I found a set of these on facebook. Got them for $295. Guy threw in a set of center caps to go with them.
