    Got the distributor i ordered today for my blazer. Billet housing, red cap, 65k coil, a set of 9-10mm HP plug wires, a pig tail for power and tach signal, and extra boots and prongs to redo or shorten wires.

    Thats what i do, i buy the cheap stuff, and as it breaks, or as i find out its garbage, i buy the next nicest one, until i find one that holds out. If the cheap garbage holds out and does just fine, then i keep it, less money spent. If it breaks, then i learned, and i move on.

    Yes they can. They're actaully stronger than they look. If you grab then at the base and give a little wiggle, you can pop em off, and repaint them.

    Ive tried washing gauges before. Many different ways, all ended up smudging a bit. Only way i did it, that didnt smudge it, was blast it with water, then blast with air. No rubbing or wiping,its the only way that doesn't smudge. When wipe around the sides with a damp kleenex, if you want, but...
