    Fuel hose

If you go into a well stocked auto parts store, most of them will have a rack in the back that holds their radiator hoses and custom molded fuel lines. A good manager should let you wander back there until you find the one you want. The Gates catalog is also a good source to find an unusually...

    Problem solved

1987-first year of TBI. Not unusual to find early TBI vehicles with the old belt setup. I don't have a wiring diagram of my '88 V-Jimmy, but wasn't there a valve controlled by the heat/cool mix lever that shut off fluid flow to the heater core when not needed? I don't remember if it was...

Best bet is to find one of the forum members with a rusted out rear section that will sell you their good front section. Simple for a good body man to cut out the old and splice in the new. Or just find a new bed out of the plenty of squares that you folks seem to have in the PNW.

I think this body style is what GM called the GMT-400, follow-on to the 73-87 square look. GM kept the 73-87 body style on Blazers/Jimmys, Suburbans, and the crew cab 3/4 & one tons thru 1991. Regardless, your truck looks like it will be a good workhorse for your pallet of drywall.

Welcome to the forum!!! My '86 C2500 is next in line for work in my grand scheme of fixing up vehicles for my grandkids. What does yours need, or are you going to do a cab off full restoration?

Thanks. Learn something every day on this forum. Does that mean that the 4L80E trans was controlled by the ECM/ECU?

    What is this device?

The only thing has proven time and time again for anti theft is a double barrel 12 gauge, or over under 12 gauge, or a single shot 12 gauge, or.....hell, you get the message.

    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

@ yevgenievich Viktor Here's another one that is I think a bargain. If I didn't have 2 Burbs already, I'd jump on this, especially being an unmolested 3/4 ton Burb. <https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/cto/7558117965.html> 1989 chevrolet suburban 2500 VIN: 1GNGR26K5KF190734...

    I’m in love - here’s the truck I’m dating

I just watched this video. Wow, she is sex on a stick. Had to make sure my wife wasn't looking over my shoulder, so I didn't get a bop to the head! Now, any update on the truck purchase?

    81-87 ACC Carpet

I'm starting restoration on my '86 C2500 Sierra Classic truck next month. The current interior is black, which is not smart in Texas summer sun. I'm going to change the color to red, and thought your carpet may be an answer. Do you have the original ACC part number from the box, or your...

    New Member, 2 Builds

Welcome from N. Texas. We're about 22 miles south of the Red River, right on the Old Chisum/Chisholm Trail. I know bumpers are just as personal a choice as wheels, but I always thought the early '81-'82 bumpers with the lights in them look great on K5's and 4WD Burbs. LMC sells them as a...

    SEMA 2022 PHOTO DUMP

What a waste of a 1954 GMC COE. Kurt, we all appreciate your effort (and empathize with your sore feet), for posting all the photos. These kind of shows remind me of the jillion of shows on cable and satellite about vehicle restoration. We all would love to have: 1. The space, 2. The tools...

    Trailer mounted winch

Watch out with a "locked" shed. I had two local druggies that broke into my barn, and both RV's. Did $7000 damage to the barn, and $1500. to each RV. I caught them in the middle of ransacking the RV's. Only three years in a state prison. Next time, I won't call the sheriff until after I take...

Late welcome to the forum from N. Texas! Dibs on the radio if it's the original factory installation. Matter of fact, I've got a Pioneer stereo w/CD player I pulled out of my '91 Suburban. Going back original. I'll swap you even!

Swaps Other than LS or LT

How much do you drive on a daily basis that you're so worried about gas mileage? None of my business, but part of the attraction about driving our old squares is the looks from mere mortals, plus I've never met a woman who doesn't like a bench seat so they can cuddle up against the lucky...
