I bought some 5 lug 16” wagon wheel style rims from Discount Tire for a trailer. They had to order them overnight, but they are available.

ISO: 1983 C30 grille, right headlight bezel

Request a printed catalog-they're free from LMC. Digital are only as good as the person assigning the noun to the part! Plus they got pictures (just like PB)! ;) :anitoof:

Noob here looking for help deciding wether to purchase a new crate motor or do an engine re-fresh

Have you checked the fuel pump? Chances are it is old and tired. I think since yours is a '90 model it has EFI and an in-tank pump. More knowledgeable folks can correct me if I'm wrong about this. No sense spending the time/money for an engine swap if it's a simple fuel pump (or clogged fuel...

    BC’s boat/dumpster fire thread

We first noticed the SS Minnow in 1978. We were just returning from a 3 year tour in Okinawa, headed East bound on CA Hwy 58, to our new assignment at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. Thought it was neat, as it showed someone still had a sense of humor. The ranch structures and the boat itself burned in...

700R4 went out while towing. Culprit?

Did mine the same way several years ago: towing in OD as opposed to dropping it down into 3rd. Expensive life lesson you will never forget! :chair:

What is the best oil to run in 1984 C10 with high-milage stock 305?

This article doesn't address the need of diesel engines have for zinc in the oil. Nor does it address the older CH-4, CI-4 and CI-4+ oils that are used in pre-2007 Diesel motors. Since most of us keep our old iron (except for the LS crowd), the correct oil is important for the early life of the...

    Hayden Fan clutches

Never had a problem with items made in either S. Korea or Taiwan. Mainland china yes-don't want any crap from them at all. S. Korea started doing US military aircraft PDM's (programmed depot maintenance) in the early '80's, and their work has always been outstanding.

    Bed liner yes or no

$100 for a rubber mat? Easy decision. Get tired of the mat? Toss it, or better yet use it in front of your workbench. Don't have a workbench? Build one, so the mat won't go to waste. Ain't life simple?

What is the best oil to run in 1984 C10 with high-milage stock 305?

What was the OAT (Outside Air Temperature) in Boston today? The reason I specified 10-30 is that is the recommended oil weight in my 1986 Chevy Truck Owners Manual.
