Hello, I was introduced to this forum by a buddy.

The old grille guard looks like a "Smash Hit" guard. Probably rescued from a 40'S or 50's truck.

    Wanted: 1979 Copper/Brass Radiator

Don't know where you're at in PA, but if Ayden can get it to me, I'll haul it up to W. PA on my way to Rochester in April. I go up I-79 to avoid Cleveland metro mess. If you're in Central or E. PA, my son lives and works in Bath, NY. I could meet you there or just leave it for you to fetch on...

    Suburban crazy

Welcome to the site from N. Texas! That is some serious body cancer. Your plan for a complete body swap will surely teach you some skills you didn't know you have. And probably a few USN language skills you also didn't know you have as well (Probably not as you mentioned something about...

    Wanted: 1979 Copper/Brass Radiator

I never realized that they made two different PNs for different transmissions. Logic would dictate that they would make them all the same, and then plug off the trans cooling ports for a manual trans?

Thinking about going nutzo on the suburban

Go for it. It's only money, and you can't take it with you. Although there is a used Cadillac place a few miles West of me, He's got an old Caddie hearse with a luggage rack!

    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

Just found a new Spectra Fuel tank on the local CL (DFW-Waco). Model number GM 14B. It fits Carb trucks from the early 80's (don't know about 73-79 models). If anyone needs a replacement tank, let me know. I travel to NY a couple times per year thru AR, TN, KY, OH, & PA to NY. Then South thru...

Recommendations For Original/After Market Parts Companies

I wouldn't worry too much, GM does that for everything they source from different suppliers, then throw it at a chassis and bingo: instant new vehicle.

LMC or whoever, what parts do I need for my 87 trim after repaint?

I've seen them occasionally on ebay. Trick with ebay these days is to get your search nouns correct, otherwise they'll throw anything remotely related to try and get you to look at every item for sale on their site. Greedy Bas---ds. I just looked using the search "1987 1988 blazer fuel...

    GMSB Members Craiglist Ads

I'm not surprised. Got a local friend who owns 2 RV parks. They say if they had 300 more spaces, they would have them filled in less than a week with full timers. My guess is with the price of housing and rentals everywhere in the US, noone can afford a place of their own. Sad in my old brain.
