    x2. An engine compartment without a shroud is always going to run hot. The shroud directs the airflow to the radiator.

    Not to worry. My daughter and DIL are both expecting, one in Apr the other in early May. Grandma has announced we WILL be there early to watch our daughters son (Grandson) while she is in the hospital after the C-section.

    Not 100% sure, but GM changed the striping location between the '88 and '89 models, at least on the Blazer/Jimmy and Suburban models.

    Our route has us coming east on I-70 out of Ohio, then N. on I-79 up to Erie. Would you be able to meet us in Washington, PA which is the junction of I-70 & I-79, with sufficient notice?
