    .. been driving this a lot lately. I would say it's a semi-daily driver. 1978 K5. This beast turns more heads than I would expect. It's burly and rowdy.

    Second this... you're loosing fuel somehow. Clogged filter, fuel lines etc. Also just drive it, could be old fuel as well. Good luck

    I have that as well. I recently had the ORD weld on steering box kit installed. I had a couple hairline cracks on the frame where the lower bolts go through to the box. Now I have both weld on and bolt on steering box brace. I also ran longer bolts through the bolt holes and used lock washers...

    What have you done to your square lately??

    Installed New drag link yesterday on my '78 k5. Wasn't much fun, thing would not budge. Needed a big hammer and pitman puller to get it off. Test drive today, steering feels much better, for now.

    I have a black '78 K5 I've been upgrading and driving for a few years. The basic info 4inch lift 35's. 350/350/203 with the part time kit on 3/4 ton 8 lugs. I also have a1969 c10 short bed i put back together in my garage. Anyway, Looking forward to talking about these trucks.
